The NJ Teacher Leader Policy Fellowship

Over the course of one year, ten New Jersey Teacher Leader Policy Fellowship participants (Fellows) participated in a year-long Fellowship to study the NJ education policy landscape, hone their advocacy skills, and achieve a short-term advocacy goal.

Our Co-Founder, Chelsea Collins is a fellowship coordinator, and had this to say about the program,

The New Jersey Teacher Leader Policy Fellowship is an opportunity for teachers to engage in policy work. It’s grounded in the foundation that teachers want and need a voice for their students and the fellowship gives them research, data and a space to really talk about how to solve some complex issues that they’re experiencing in their schools and districts and how to advocate for students at the local and state level.
